Latin I

Latin I: An introduction to the basic grammar, syntax, morphology, and vocabulary of the Latin language, the focus of this course is on vocabulary memorization and derivation as well as translation of short Latin readings. Over the course of the year, extensive attention is paid to skill in reading and translating longer passages Latin, while increasing vocabulary retention in both English and Latin.
