Health Education

Welcome to the Maspeth High School Health Education class. In this class, students will practice using proper health knowledge and skills to reduce high risk behaviors and will also allow students to explore personal attitudes and beliefs about health and well-being.  Students will have the opportunity to learn how to change negative behaviors into positives. Through a welcoming and relaxed, yet challenging atmosphere, students will partake in activities and concepts which will introduce them to strategies aimed to reduce the chances of negative effects and consequences in their lives. We place an emphasis on and believe that all students are capable of making growth in their personal health and community involvement to achieve this goal.
