College Algebra & Trigonometry
College Algebra & Trigonometry, formerly named Precalculus, weaves together previous studies of algebra, geometry, trigonometry, and mathematical functions into a preparatory course for calculus. Throughout the course, standards are taught and reinforced as the student learns how to apply the concepts with technology and to real-life situations. The final two units are an introduction to calculus. Students will be prepared for college level mathematical topics and may receive three college math credits. This course is affiliated with St. John’s University. College credits are contingent upon passing the course.
