Biology
Biology is the study of organisms and how they interact with their environment. General Biology at Maspeth High School is a course designed to both increase students’ knowledge of organisms and to challenge them to think critically about the world around them. Students are expected to engage in class activities like labs and research projects along with reading, gathering, and organizing information from various scientific sources. That information will be used beyond the classroom to allow our students to be able to make informed decisions about their futures.
